Danilo Caccamese

 President

Danilo Caccamese was born in Catania on October 13, 1988. Raised in close contact with nature in the foothills of Mount Etna, he showed a keen interest in art and literature from an early age, interests he continues to cultivate today through painting, photography, and writing. He received his initial religious education at the Salesian institute Don Bosco, earning a classical high school diploma.

After emancipating himself from his family, he began his academic studies in literature in Catania, continuing to varying degrees in Bologna, Rome, Milan, Padua, and abroad, expanding his skills beyond the artistic to include technical (cinema and new media) and introspective (counseling and philosophy). Further information can be found in the informative CV below. While still closely connected to the art world, the 2010s saw his literary debut with the publication of two books, winning several poetry competitions, and organizing his first cultural events.

Moving first to the north Italy and then abroad for academic and health reasons, he lived in several cities, living as a wandering cleric, learning from the places and people he met along the way. Returning to Sicily in 2024, he decided to channel his experiences into the founding of the Greenstone social promotion association, of which he is currently president.
